A week and a half ago, Cody took the boys to the Father and Son's camp out in the mountains so I took Vivian and uncle Andrew with me to see Clara in Spokane. It was our first time seeing her with a shaved head and she was mighty cute. Vivian and Clara had a good time riding around in the cozy coupes together and looking out over the city of Spokane on the outdoor basketball court. It's extremely hard to leave Natasha and Clara there. We miss them. We feel guilty that we get to go home and do fun things because they aren't doing the fun things with us...quite the opposite.
The happiest face that greeted us right when we walked in the door.
Together again.
Cruising through the hospital halls in the cozy coupes...their favorite thing to do.
Giving each other high fives in between drives.
Holding her newly shaved hair.
Clara is such a trooper and has taught us all a lesson on patience, kindness, love and the list goes on. Her mother never disappoints with her beautiful way of words and her devotion to her little girl and family. We continually pray for her every day and in Blake's words "please bless that her hair will grow back and the doctors can get the cancer out of her body."
