Since buying our house, we haven't really had one spare moment to rest. The outside needed our immediate attention, so we (Cody) got to work right away. A few days after we moved in and got all of our boxes in the house from the garage, he installed a garage door opener. The next day he got to work on our fence and had it finished by Saturday morning...just in time to thatch the entire lawn and mow it. The grass needs some serious help. He worked almost every night last week until 10:00 or 11:00 trying to get the fence done (we still have to stain it too!). Now he is working on the sprinklers. Whoever first put them in did a horrible job, so he is redoing them all and making the system much more efficient. Nothing inside has been tackled. I'm thinking most of that will have to wait until summer is over. We want to try and get a garden in over the next week or so. We shall see. I guess it just gives me more time to finalize what I want to do exactly. Nothing major, just little touches here and there. We love having more space and feel so blessed to be where we are. The neighborhood is great and our kids are quickly making friends up and down the streets.
Putting up the fence. Cody had lot's of little hands willing to help.
Working on the sprinklers today. Vivian loves to pin Blake down and sit on him. I'm so glad I caught it on camera today. Her favorite thing to do is be outside with her dad digging in the dirt working side by side with him.
