Blake's birthday was celebrated in two parts. On his actual birthday he wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese. I'm not a big fan, but it's what the boy wanted. After that, we went to Red Robin where he stuffed his face with chicken fingers, cantaloupe and French fries. After all of the waiters/waitresses sang happy birthday to him, he cried for them to sing it to him again. Did I mention that Blake requested I sing happy birthday to him at least 10 times throughout the day? Well, he did and I happily obliged.
Favorite present...Scooby-Do biscuits! Carter has already begged me to get them for his birthday. My kids are easy to please...for now.
Trying to decide what in the heavens he is going to try out first. I will cry the day these cowboy boots don't fit him. He loves them.
The man himself. He actually creeps me out.
Carter was extremely happy that this "ride" was actually open. We had been here two previous times with no luck. He calls it the roller coaster. Ha!
Playing a little air hockey with his brother.
Trying to get up on the monster truck. You would think this thing did something more powerful than it did...kind of a let down for him.
Now we are getting into part two of his birthday. We had a little family party on Saturday at the park. The weather couldn't be beat. It was awesome. We barbecued Teryaki chicken on the grill.
Blake wanted a pinata since Carter had one on his birthday last year. I scored this sweet hat pinata at Walmart for $2.50 since it was out of season. You should have seen the dust I had to blow off of it. Kids don't know the difference, right? Just as long as there is candy inside.
Loving the fact that he got one of his birthday wishes...chocolate. The boy is obsessed.
Dad conveniently turned the pinata into a hat for the birthday boy.
Blowing out the candles on his second wish...a chocolate cupcake.

I hate Chuck E. Cheese. And I will try to do everything possible to convince my kids that it is an evil place - when the time comes.
I love those candles!
Blake is such a funny little dude! happy birthday!
And your sister REALLY looks like you in that picture of her with her curls. Almost thought it was you.
Your boys are getting so big!!!
What an amazing birthday, I'm jealous! He is such a cutie and I love that kids this age are so easy to please! I don't want them to grow up.
