Ever since we moved into this house I have wanted a bench for when you walk in from the garage. I didn't really want to spend a lot of money since this is a rental. I looked on craigslist, but to no avail found nothing great. Then a friend in the ward offered up a bench one day and I snatched it right up. It was honey colored and the stain was coming off in multiple locations. Cody and my dad sanded it down and then I sprayed on a few coats of paint, sanded some edges and put a coat of polyurethane on and she is as good as new.
Black is the new black, right?
