Halloween 2009

Halloween is usually pretty low key at our house. My boys changed what they wanted to be all the way up until the weekend of Halloween. Doesn't everyone's kids do that? Blake decided to be what he originally wanted to be....a pirate. So, I hurried and sewed an eye patch together, gave him the $2 sword I bought and threw on a mustache. He pretty much looked like Frenchman meets pirate, but whatever. Carter wanted to be batman, so I pulled out the cape I made him two years ago and a mask I made and BAM we have batman. My kids like it simple...I like it that way too. Vivian was nothing. She just stayed in her stroller the whole time while the boys ran from house to house gathering loads of candy.
Tired from trick or treating.
Our little pirate.
This lady, I mean witch, hid on her porch and scared the kids as they came to her door. It was pretty funny...Blake wanted to run.
The three amigos.
