Recap of our move

Here is a little recap of the month of April for our family.

Cody finished classes and flew to Japan for 8 days.

Candace went to WA with the boys for almost two weeks.

Came home from WA and Japan, packed the house up in two days, went to two graduations, cleaned the house and moved the next day.

Drove over 1,700 miles to Houston in two separate cars.  (I highly recommend being in the car without the kids...especially if you are the mom.  My kids tend to whine when I am around.)

Stayed in ten different beds.

The boys watched ? hours of tv in the car.

Spent over $4,000 moving.

Celebrated our 7 year anniversary on the road.

Had to 'bid' on a rental house.  We won the bid (yes, we are paying more money for the house than what was being asked.  Almost twice our rent in Provo)  We beat 8 other couples because of more money offered and a better credit score.  

I came down with a nasty sinus infection a few days before we moved.  Thank goodness for z-packs. The boys caught what I had, but much worse and were sick for a little over 2 weeks.  It's no fun staying in the same room for over a week with two kids that cough all night long.  I felt so bad for them.  They finally got over it last Monday.  Yipee!

AND we all managed to stay alive and somewhat sane during our whole adventure.

We moved into our house on May4th.
