Halloween started off with dinner, which no one would eat. Cody wasn't really hungry so he ate later, and Carter and Blake were too excited to get out the door. I had bought soup bowls that looked like pumpkins and made a creamy broccoli cheese chowder to put inside. Oh well. We went to our old bishops house for a little while. He and his wife had brownies, sugar cookies, and homemade salsa and chips for us to partake. So, first stop TONS of sugar for the boys. Then we headed back over to our neighborhood for trick or treating. Carter ran to every house and Blake just kept concentrating on the candy he was getting. After our neighborhood we headed over to complexes that are in our ward. Not a single person was home in the 20 doors Carter and Blake knocked. Figures, none of them have kids so they were probably our partying the night up. Anyway, the boys had fun. Blake dinosaur head was so heavy that he kept falling in his face...they both were sure cute. Carter "roared" to everyone that answered the door. I was just glad they both waited to get sick until after Halloween. Now they are both sick with colds.
