I'm going crazy because Blake won't crawl forward. He crawls backwards, but not forward. He is soooooooooo ready to crawl and I am sooooooooooo ready for him to do it. One of these days it will click. Carter didn't crawl until he was almost 10 months...Blake is past that now. I know the crawling and walking stage is harder at home because they get into more things, but bring it on. He sits and flaps his little wings and then get's really frustrated when he is going the wrong direction...any suggestions? I've put every single thing in front of him that he could ever want and he still can't get to it. Ugggg!!!!
A quick recap on our trip home. We left Friday morning at 7:00am. Blake woke up at 4:30am throwing up in his crib with a bad fever. We get about an hour out of town and the roads are closed because of 70+ mile and hour winds. Two hours later we are back on the road going slow because of the wind. Shortly after we start going again, Blake starts to throw up all over the place. We can't stop anywhere because 1) there is nowhere to stop and 2) we would be blown away if we got out. He kept throwing up for the next 1 1/2 hours to La Grande (no joke). The child was not happy. We stopped in La Grande only to find out that the roads were closed again because of Zero visibility from wind, rain, and snow. UGGGG!!! Many restaurants and store were closed because of no power, but good ol' Wendy's pulled through for us. I sat in the corner with Blake while he threw up and Cody stood in line to get something to eat for 45 mintues. I was sweating bullets. Oh, and Carter was chasing a little boy around the joint. We called Cody's grandparents who live about 25 mintues away to see if we could stay there until the roads opened, but they have been snowed in for the past week. My mom called a family friend who is a dentist in the area and they let us come hang out with out sick child and crazy kid for the next 4 hours. The roads finally opened later in the afternoon. We headed for Boise...Blake continued to throw up...we went through 6 outfits that day. My Aunt lives in Boise so we stayed the night there. I had a miserable night with Blake which = no sleep! We left early the next morning and arrived in Provo around 2:30pm. Boy were we SOOOOOOOOOOO Happy to see home. Blake is now sick with a cold and not feeling well at all which means no sleep for both of us. Cody started school again and has hardly been home since Monday. When is this semester going to be over? That wasn't such a quick recap, huh? Trust me, I left a lot of stuff out.
Have a great day!
